Omicron Style Transfer Head

The Omicron Style Transfer Head is a twist-actuated gripper engineered for precise and reliable handling of standard Omicron sample flags in ultra-high vacuum environments. Designed for direct mounting on wobble-stick manipulators or magnetic introduction (mag-intro) transfer rods, it delivers smooth actuation and secure sample retention with excellent tactile feedback.

Featuring durable tungsten carbide guide rods, the gripper ensures low wear, minimal particulate generation, and long-term performance under repeated use in demanding UHV conditions. This robust flag-style end effector integrates seamlessly with our magnetically coupled transfer devices and wobble-stick models, supporting efficient sample manipulation for surface science, materials research, and deposition applications. Custom end effector designs are available to meet specific experimental needs.
