Because we treat all of our products as semi-custom, we have a well-established approval process as follows:

1. Customer specification gathering
2. Quote to spec
   1. MTS quotes a spec
   2. Customer review of quote
   3. Repeat 2.a and 2.b as required to refine spec
3. Customer purchase of equipment
4. Design, in collaboration with customer
   1. MTS internal design, detailed technical communication as required
   2. Drawings (and 3D models on request) sent to customer for approval
   3. Repeat 4.a and 4.b as required to refine design (restricted by scope of purchased spec at step 3)
5. Customer signs approval drawings, delivery clock starts
6. MTS goes into production
   1. Long-lead purchase begins
   2. Machining and fabrication begin
   3. Project purchasing
   4. Assembly
   5. QC and leak-check
   6. Shipping

The bottom line is that our quote includes all of the engineering required to get you what you need.
