Our E-Beam Temperature Controller provides precise, reliable closed-loop control for electron-beam heating systems in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments. Designed specifically for use with McAllister electron-beam heater assemblies, this unit delivers focused, high-temperature heating through controlled electron emission, achieving superior performance where conventional resistive heating falls short.

The system features a robust control panel with dedicated controls for filament voltage (AC resistive heating of the tantalum filament) and high-voltage bias (0–1000 V DC for electron acceleration). It supports emission currents up to approximately 125 mA, enabling rapid, localized heating of the sample plate while minimizing thermal impact on surrounding components. Integrated with a Watlow temperature controller, it offers programmable ramp rates (e.g., 20°C/min), PID-based closed-loop operation, and manual override modes for flexibility across research and process applications.
