Custom metal gaskets for reliable UHV sealing on ConFlat (CF) flanges. Standard offering is OFHC copper at 0.080″ (2 mm) thick, available in any geometry up to 36″ × 120″. 

All gaskets are ultrasonically cleaned prior to packaging to ensure low residual contamination and ready-to-install cleanliness for UHV systems.

Available materials include:

• OFHC / OFE copper (standard)
• Silver-plated copper (recommended for frequent high-temperature bake-outs to reduce oxide formation)
• Gold-plated copper (maximum cleanliness and conformance)
• Aluminum (lower magnetic permeability, required for Aluminum flanges)
• Nickel (maximum hardness, sustained high temperature)

These gaskets produce the classic knife-edge metal-to-metal seal required for base pressures below 10^-10 Torr, with excellent bake-out performance (typically to 450 °C for copper-based gaskets) and minimal outgassing. Fully custom geometries support large or non-standard chambers, multi-port adaptors, custom lids, and other applications where standard round CF gaskets are insufficient.

While we do not stock custom gaskets, we offer a short turnaround often of 1-2 weeks. We also stock standard gasket sizes.
